Long awaited, but much enjoyed

After reading the first two Nick Mason novels, I looked forward to the third in the series and it did not disappoint... well paced with great characters...

Been Waiting a Long Time for this book

I love these Nick Mason books. I was delighted to see that the author finally wrote a third installment. It does not disappoint.

Very good

Ray porter does a very good job reading. Now have to wait for book 4.

Another kind of Good Guy!!!

I read this book first now I want to read books 1-2! Mason is an assassin however with a good sense of right and wrong. He’s complex which makes the book enjoyable. I loved that I wasn’t able to figure everything out and a few crucial elements were a surprise at the end. I had suspicions but it was delightful to see how they played out. I hope this series continues for many more books!!!!

Ehhh

I had been waiting for the book since the last one came out but the author switched publishers and all the headaches that come with that so I guess after all that waiting my expectations were really high. It wasn’t bad but after waiting 7 years I thought it would be better. The story is short on character building in the beginning then really sags in the middle but comes through in the end. Ray Porter as always was amazing.

Solid book

This book was pretty good. Definitely better then book 2, not quite as good as book 1. But the story kept you engaged and wanting more. Not much else you can say about a book better then that.

Good story, great narration

As usual, Ray Porter is awesome in his telling of the story! Nick Mason novels are just the right length, long enough to cover the story and short enough to keep it interesting. This one will not disappoint!

Drop off in quality

The biggest strength of this series was taken away by going international. The stories were much better when it was focused on Chicago.
