Unfortunately felt like a waste of a fun premise
Characters really didn't do much other than explain background info and flash back to really specific foreshadowing that realistically they wouldn't have known, argue with each other and generally be assholes, and tell us about all of their emotional states. This book contains almost all tell and no show.
A weird amount of flashing back to some of the only intenteresting parts of the book, right at the very beginning, and there's no character development or authentic chemistry between the characters at all. We get told a bunch of times that they care about each other, though, so that'll have to do. The whole ride was incredibly predictable, and nothing particularly interesting happened.
