Insightful and comprehensive

Commend the author for their remarkable ability to smoothly navigate from one tangled cluster of geopolitical issues to the next, seamlessly weaving into the story a bird’s-eye view. 'America’s New Map' is deliciously dense yet comprehensive, enabling the listener/reader to construct a framework for understanding and effortlessly incorporate further insights. The author strongly argues why the United States holds a unique position while standing at a pivotal juncture. The rich content and ease of comprehension make it good for multiple ‘readings’.

I've read a couple of other books by this author that were much better. This book kind of rambles on and on about everything wrong with the world. It comes off like the intoxicated guy at the bar that seems to know EVERYTHING. Politics, religion, big business, etc. And it's all quite negative.
