Thanks for easing off on the whole Oversite Counsel (OC) drama which has been so over-done in the most recent books. We get it.. The team needs oversite, but the OC doesn't know what's happening on the ground and politics come into play with all decisions. Just let Pike do his job as the Counsel, when they go against him, are always on the wrong side of things.
It was a pleasant reprieve when this book chilled out on all that needless drama. Great book. Love the Pike Logan series overall.

Very nicely done.
You left us hanging at the end! Your potential has two goals. The hundred meter goal maybe the mole, the five meter goal the illness that someone contracted.
Or vice versa, depends. Either way I'm interested in the next book regardless of how it goes. one of my favorite authors.

For fans of super-agent thrillers, this is for you
This is the first Brad Taylor / Pike Logan book I've ever read but I'm seriously impressed and will be listening to more of the series starting earlier now.
The story is detailed enough to be engaging and put the reader/listener in the situation without being overly distracting (ie: Jack Carr's millimeter-level detail).
This is a thrilling super-agent novel with a GREAT storyline!

I think that the story flows very nicely using facts from the headlines. Unlike Tom Clancy you won’t be bored out of your mind with details. The action is quick and the story moves quicker. Loved how he threw in coronavirus in the very last sentence. Almost like they read more of the series. Would even like to meet Arther at some point.
