the human interactions were great
so after going from the first book straight to the pre-order of the second im glad to say I wasn't disappointed, the status updates got longer unfortunately but I've read worse books. The book overall i can break down into 2 parts first part: anytime amber isn't in a city or with people on these parts we're quite long and to me monotonous good to see how she levels against monsters and stuff but not why I listened to it the second part whenever amber is interacting with her city's,friends or large groups of people, now these were so badass so amazing I was almost jumping up and down; like hell yeah you show them amber. it's unbelievably OP MC moments that rival some of my favorite books and anime. The author definitely knew what he was doing. let's see a few last details still no romance(fine by me for this series) also I don question 1 aspect of this world and that's the power levels, in games or isekai the power levels for strong monsters or people are rare the book even says so yet this whole series the monsters and people around amber have mostly similar levels to her or higher like all the time if it wasn't for her special abilities she'd be dead a lot. not sure about that inconsistency but doesn't really effect the story much except when amber talks or waits for the bad guy to build up (she does this a lot) like kill the dude don't wait lol. overall 4 out of 5 stars i hope the next books is more of her being a badass and she doesn't soften up like most tropes.
