The Imperials have devised a cunning new method of destroying Rebel worlds. Captain Leo Blake is largely responsible for both our survival and our current predicament. The best of the Rebel Fleet series
A great beginning and the goodness just keeps going. This is certainly the best thus far in this Rebel Fleet series it's what I expect from B.V Larson thank you it's as good as early Star Force and Undying Mercenaries which is high marks in my opinion.

Scratchy at first, but Riveting to the end!
The audio seemed a bit broken at first, but as I progressed the audio quality improved. All round a fantastic performance as usual from Mark Boyett, bringing the characters to life.
As for the story. Simply wow, I was absolutely hooked! It pains me to wait for the rest of the books!

More than the sum of its parts.
This is one of those holistic series'. The story is weak yet fundamentally compelling. the narrator is good in primary voice yet limited 'off axis'. Yet, when considered in total, I find myself looking forward to the next book in the series. I continue to believe the overall story arc and universe has a deeper basis. Oh how 80's scifi has molded my expectations :-)

I know I love a series when I start feeling at home with the characters and look forward to reading the next book 1 minute after finishing the last one. like a chain cigarette smoker I'm hooked. I heard the books on audio, it kills me that the fourth book doesn't have narration. please add a narration so that i can drive to work in a better mood.

Really enjoyed it...
A real fun story with lots of twists and turns. Never saw what was coming next... can't wait to finish the series but wish it wouldn't end👍👍

Delivered what I expected
Larson is imaginative. I love the world hes built. The bull that Blake can pull off usually is actually believable. what's hard to swallow at times is how idiotic some enemies can be. I can chalk it up to cultural differences only so many times. But those frustrating instances are not the norm. I will continue to devour every book Larson outputs. The situations he crafts are far from superficial.
