About this listen

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of Fire and Fury delivers a breathtaking insider account of the 2024 Trump campaign—undoubtedly the wildest, most unpredictable campaign in U.S. history, including multiple criminal trials, two assassination attempts, and a sudden switch of opponents.

All or Nothing takes listeners on a journey accompanying Donald Trump on his return to power as only Michael Wolff, the foremost chronicler of the Trump era, can do it. As Trump cruelly and swiftly dispatches his opponents, heaps fire and fury on the prosecutors and judges who are pursuing him, and mocks and belittles anyone in his way, including the president of the United States, this becomes not just another election but perhaps, both sides say, the last election. The stakes could not be clearer: Either the establishment destroys Donald Trump, or he destroys the establishment.

What soon emerges is a split-screen reality: On one side, a picture that could not be worse for Trump: an inescapable, perhaps mortal legal quagmire; on the other side, an entirely positive political outlook: overwhelming support within his party, ever-rising polling numbers, and lackluster opposition. Through personal access to Trump’s inner circle, Wolff details a behind-the-scenes, revealing landscape of Trumpworld and its unlikely cast of primary players as well as the candidate himself, the most successful figure in American politics since, arguably, Roosevelt, but who might easily seem to be raving mad.

Threading a needle between tragedy and farce, the fate of the nation, the liberal ideal, and democracy itself, All or Nothing paints a gobsmacking portrait of a man whose behavior is so unimaginable, so uncontrolled, so unmindful of cause and effect, that it defeats all the structures and logic of civic life. And yet here in one of the most remarkable comebacks in American political history, Trump is victorious. This is not just a story about politics: It is a vivid exposé of the demons, discord, and anarchy—the fire, fury, and future—of American life under Trump.

The author is such a bad narrator

Michael Wolff’s latest book offers his usual sharp insights, but the audiobook version is a major letdown. Unlike his previous works on Trump, which were brilliantly narrated by Holter Graham, this time Wolff takes on the narration himself—and the result is painfully dull. His delivery is flat and uninspired, making it difficult to stay engaged. Strangely, Graham’s voice does appear intermittently, only highlighting the contrast between a masterful narrator and Wolff’s monotone performance. It’s baffling why the publisher allowed this change. Was it a cost-saving decision? Or was Wolff himself insistent on taking the mic? Either way, it’s a misstep that diminishes the listening experience.

One Man's Grudge Against Trump

Poorly narrated, poorly written, and a poor excuse for an objective look at Trump and the 2024 election. This is nothing more than Michael Wolff's attempt to justify his own hatred for the president. It is full of hearsay and falsehood, unattributed statements like imagining women such as Pam Bondi and Alina Habba lounging in bikinis at Mar-a-Lago and the last sentence of the book is a potentially libelous allegation that Trump is having an affair with his aide, Natalie Harp.

That is the nonsense that fills this book and for anyone looking for a balanced perspective of the election or an analysis of Donald Trump this isn't it. I consider myself a Trump supporter but listen to a lot of audiobooks by those who are on the other side of the political spectrum in order to get a complete, informed perspective. Wolff's book is the worst I have encountered and I recommend steering clear of it.

Impossible to listen to this book

I’ve enjoyed this author’s previous three audiobooks. Sadly, the author decided to save money by narrating this book. His droning monotone makes it impossible to listen to. I tried increasing speed without effect.
Glad I can return this book.
