About this listen

"To him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."

Spurgeon's masterpiece on grace from Romans 4:5 is an outstanding description of God's love and unmerited grace to us. It is one of the clearest examples of salvation by grace ever written. Spurgeon's masterpiece is one the finest expositions ever penned on faith, repentance, and regeneration.

Timelessly relevant. A gift to all.

I’ve listened to this book a number of times. I like Simon Vance’s narration the best.

Powerful, intelligent, insightful

Spurgeon presents a powerful, intelligent, and insightful call to be reconciled to God and find true life. Direct, thought-provoking, heart-penetrating, passionate, and loving without compromise. Vance is excellent in his narration - with tone and cadence that demonstrates understanding of the author's intent, that illuminates the text, and that adds value to the experience. This truly is a must for the Christian and for the seeker. One of the most rewarding books I have ever listened to or read.

Timeless Message.

A beautiful portrait of God's grace as explained by Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Surely this will be a frequent repeat in my library, as the message is timeless.
