About this listen

When I rented a room in an old Victorian inn, I expected creaking floors, flickering lights, and maybe an eerie atmosphere—but not actual ghosts. And I never imagined that simply seeing them might cost me my life.

After escaping a hellish marriage to a manipulative man, all I wanted was a fresh start—no drama, and definitely no chaos. Instead, soon after I step into the inn, a supernatural symbol sears beneath my fingernail, giving me the ability to see ghosts as living during full moons. Then I'm told terrifying creatures want me dead to take that symbol. And then I learn my name—Monday—holds a meaning far beyond just being the most hated day of the week. As if that’s not enough, I may be the key to stopping some coming supernatural apocalypse.

With the help of the inn’s owner of course, who vows to protect me—he’s a tall, broad-shouldered ghost with dark brown eyes as rich as aged whiskey and just as intoxicating, who makes my heart race in ways it definitely shouldn’t. Naturally, he was married. “Was,” being the key word... He is a ghost after all, although he doesn't look it at times.

I’ve literally stepped into a paranormal nightmare. To survive, I must help my ghostly crush avenge his and his wife's murders, fight off the creatures hunting me, and somehow prevent hell itself from rising. Oh, and I’m also supposed to help lost spirits move on—though how to do that is a mystery to me.

Caught in a revenge plot, hunted for a power I don’t understand, racing to stop an apocalypse, and—against all logic—falling harder for a ghost than I ever did for the living… Is this really what starting over is supposed to look like?

Step inside and you'll find...

• Two formidable heroines—one a reluctant newcomer, the other a fearless shapeshifter who takes no defiance from the living or the dead
• A dangerously handsome ghostly innkeeper - and his brother
• Lost souls with unfinished business
• Demons, vengeful spirits, and creatures of pure malevolence
• And not one, but two slow-burn romances,
smoldering with tension, longing, and the promise of something worth fighting for

This is a Slow Burn Paranormal Romance / Supernatural Suspense / Cozy Ghost Mystery.

Started Great, but because a Sope Opera

Story started out so good, just tucked me in and stayed that way until aprox half way through. Suddenly it became a Soap Opra of problems, lasting after a married man more and more etc. so very disappointed with the second half of the book. Narration is virtually done, but seemed alright by me.
