Loved it!
First listen of the Alien (xenoverse). I feel like I might have been spoiled, as Scott Sigler crafted a truly unique work. Experiencing the world filled with "Black Demons" in Phalanx was so novel and interesting, it wasn't until the close chapters that I even remembered it was tied to a greater story. Even in these final chapters, new twists were around each corner. The descriptive language and extraordinary effort to make "battles" feel fast, present, and realistic was much appreciated! +1 for the intelligent but not overly focused war tactics and strategy research.

Absolutely amazing. A true breath of fresh air
Probably one of the best books in the Alien universe. I have loved the Alien franchise as long as I can remember. I constantly search for more about this amazing universe, I cant get enough. I will be recommending this as a must read/listen to anyone remotely interested in the Alien universe. I only wish I had the words to describe the way this story pulled me in. The way I fell in love with the world. The way i came to love the characters. how my heart raced and fell at times. the tears that came and the joy I felt among the words of this book. How I long to know more about this world. If only I had the word to do this work of art justice.

wow! What a great story!
This isn't an Alien story like others, this is a movie in a book! What a great audio experience! This story starts off great nd ends even better. if you like Alien books and movies, this is more of a growth story about how it takes a nation to kill the aliens.

great story in the aliens universe
wow, what a good story. its definitely different, and the twists that it leads to are pretty awesome, not gonna spoil anything, give this a listen its definitely worth it, the characters are very well put together and are relatable. wish there were more stories in this line! good job Scott.

After Alien and Aliens, this is the s#*t!
Now THIS is an Alien story! I would put this proudly behind Alien and Aliens as the best stories in the franchise, bar none. Spectacular on all counts! Scott Sigler, and the narrator, Bronson Pinchot, provided a riveting reading experience, which honestly, has left me at a loss as to what to move on to. What will be nearly as satisfying? Believe I may just listen to this Audible edition again...

Unexpected gem
This was a story out of place an unexpected in all the right ways. A story that builds its characters gently but rich depth. All the emotions any great story should have, but wrapped in a genre that is normally very 1 dimensional (sorry for the pun). I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the Alien franchise, or any reader who would just love a great ride through an a beautifully scaled and balanced story.
