Gorgeous. Sweet. Funny. He made me feel things that I've never felt before. In just one short week over Spring Break, I began to fall in love. That is until it all fell apart. Now, here I am, three years later and I've moved on, at least that's what I told myself until he came crashing back into my life. Things have changed. I've changed, and there's something he doesn't know.

He wants me to give us another chance. I try to fight it, but it's not long before all of those same old feelings come rushing back. I know he feels it, too. I can see it every time he looks at me. I can feel it every time he touches me.

It feels like I'm missing something though, like there's something that he's not telling me. Something that has the potential to tear it all apart. After all, it's not easy when you fall in love with your best friends' father. I didn't stand a chance after we met.

Pretty awesome read

Pretty good book. I love both listening and reading. I read it first, then listened on audio.

very good read

I love how this book is. It hits some tuff life stuff but good. Only thing I would have changed is the female lead is way to trusting, but thank goodness she is.

Short and nice story

This story is nice I really liked it,Troy Duran makes everything way better definitely recommend it.

it was a good story but Lonnie has no backbone. Not sure if it's worth the read I feel like the story was to short.

Great Story!

I have read and reread this story so when the audio book came out, of course I bought it. Unfortunately, the narration of it took away from the story. I've listened to it several times so it's not horrible. Evan Grace knows how to write the difficult stories, and she does it very well.

Don’t bother

This book is cringe after cringe and so poorly written. All the author focused on was the smut scenes.

Uhh it’s okay…

It started good except the adult in the story acted like a child in the beginning

He also MADE a promise about taking care of her

Lied about not getting messages

Then acted surprised seeing her again

Lonnie doesn’t know how to stand up for herself at all… not even a little bit

Molly was the only character I actually liked in the story


I was looking for an easy listen but I can’t stand lying it was and easy listen until the last 5 chapters or so


In my opinion they should have given her a different man and let Damon watch her being love and care for by a real man
