Love forbidden stories!

I love the age gap, professor/student tropes so much. This one was fantastic! Hayden and Tyler were pure fire. Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Nice easy flow

This was a really nice book to listen to. The conflicts were brief and easily overcome, unlike some books that keep you frustrated on edge instead of just enjoying the story. I felt like these characters could be my friends or neighbors, not super heroes or people in complete control of their lives. I really enjoyed the connection and intimacy of their friendship as well as their romance.

The continuation we didn’t know we needed!!

I fell in love with chase and gage in “dibs” - and now it’s Tyler’s turn to find love and I’m here for the shmexy professor/student love!

I love the characters and the book about Tyler’s dads, Dibs. I have listen numerous times and love it Everytime

Loved the story

As much as I love the book, and though I try every time I see Tor Thom as a narrator, his narration still bothers me. I’m sure he’s great and I’m sure a lot of listeners enjoy him, but after Game Changers (Rachael Reid) and this, it’s just a …yikes.

Other narrator was fantastic and did a great job.

Either way, can’t wait for the rest of the audiobooks (and books) to follow.

A nice Happily Ever After

This story was an unexpected delight. I usually avoid professor and student storylines, but this one definitely exceeded my expectations. meeting before they were teacher and student and then doing their best to avoid the romance was thrilling.

of course they have their bumps in trouble is, but in the end it all worked out. There is a third act break up, but it does get resolved at the end of the story. The conniving ex was in the background, they definitely throw a wrench into things.

I recommend for sure.

Mostly nice but...

The forced drama towards the end was quite stupid. I almost quit but decided to continue, trying not to roll my eyes every now and then.

Lukewarm Student-Teacher with an unbearable narrator

Narration - I swear I’m not trying to tear this narrator apart, but, my god, Tor Thom is such a bad narrator. His cadence is super wonky and his inflection is breathy and awkward. When he does a woman’s voice, it’s peak cringe. He narrates a lot of books that I like, so I’ve given him a lot of chances, but this is going to be the last one.

Story - Forbidden romance between a student/teacher. Nothing too exciting, but no glaring issues. It’s easily digestible, but also insta-love, which is a personal turn-off for me.
