About this listen

Yasmin Olvera has a man problem. Her brother is in jail for murder, her ex-fiance has inconveniently forgotten he dumped her, and someone is leaving dead animals on her stoop. The last thing she needs is another male thrown into the mix, even a strong extra-terrestrial warrior who's crossed the galaxy to aid her.

Benar Q'Mhel has better things to do than babysit a helpless Terran female, no matter how attractive she is. Sure, somebody's after her, and in a nasty way, but does she really need an elite mercenary-soldier to solve her problem?

But as the situation escalates, Benar begins to reconsider the tough-minded Yasmin and her place in his life, and she begins to wonder if love might be the key to solving her man problem once and for all.

Great

Short, interesting and spicy. Great characters and the narrators were absolutely remarkable. I would recommend this story. I received this through audiofreebies, no review was required I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Surprisingly Great Story

The narrator was really smooth and everything flowed well. The characters really worked even though there was aliens and humans getting together. I thought it was a good quick read.

It was okay...

The narrators did a great job but the story was okay for me. Yasmin needs protection from a stalker and Benar comes to protect his Beauty. He wants his commands followed and has no problem showing Yasmin exactly what he means. This story was steamy but I wish there was more because this story was missing something for me. I didn't like how Benar let the person causing problems for Yasmin get away just to spend more time with her. There were things I liked and disliked about this story but it's a story worth listening to once to pass the time.

More Sex less story

I listened to my first story by this author and it was book 3 of this series. I was impressed by it so I splurged and used a credit to buy the next in the series. I was so very disappointed. Book 3 was filled with lots of details, plot twist and story with a little sex thrown in. This was just the opposite. The narration was good but the story was lacking.

Warrior's Touch

This is another good short story in the Pruxnae series. I listened to all but The Choosing and found each book enjoyable. Angel Clark and Matthew Josdal did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Short and sweet

I think this is a good wrap up to Yasmin's story. I liked the interaction between her and Beynard! I definitely enjoyed this series.

Rachels friend Yasmin gets her own (short) story.

I liked and enjoyed it, but I did think it was very similar to Book 2 (Alien Mine), but shorter and without the cute kids.
I was pleasantly surprised by the difference/ 'twist in angel' between book 1 and 2, and I would have enjoyed this book more if it would have something different/ unique too.

If you enjoy the series, this will be a nice, romantic addition.
If you're a new reader, I would recommend you start with Book 1 or 2. (they are highly recommended, I really enjoyed this series a lot!)
Narration is excellent (like it is in the entire series)

Was short but was still a great story to hear.

The narration was entertaining but the story seemed like it was cut short. It took place on Earth as Bendar figures out who is after Yasmin. We didn't get to spend anytime on Pruxnae as they enter the choosing.
I would love to see more books come out in this world. There seems to be a lot left to explore and many characters left to find happy ever afters.

book 4- the Pruxnae

This is book 4 and the last (so far) in the Pruxnae series by Lucy Varna. I loved these characters. This is Yasmin and Benar's story. Yasmin is such a strong, fierce character and Banar goes in not giving her the credit she's due. He soon learns there is so much more to her than he initially thought. Great dual narration - I love dual narration! Smooth vocals that bring the characters to life so well. I hope there will be more in this series of alien kidnappers!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

light alien romance for time out

Very light alien romance.
Benar goes to Earth as a favor to his brother, Dyuvad, from Alien Mine. Dyuvad and Rachel are concerned for her sister-in-law Yasmine Olvera, who is being tormented by someone leaving disturbing offerings on her front porch.
Benar is totally annoyed that he has to take the time out dealing with the weak little Earth woman. But she’s not weak; and she’s so much more to him.
Jogdal and Clark do a decent enough job of narration.
