About this listen

From the best-selling author of the Daughters of the Promise series.

Addison Burke is a successful real estate agent who specializes in high-end closings and who enjoys an elite lifestyle not often afforded someone her age (27). But following her estranged mother's stroke and a recent fall, Addison is forced to hire a caregiver for her. It's a job Addison chooses not to take on, despite her financial freedom to do so. She hires an agency to fill the position, and to her surprise, they send a man for the job.

Logan has somehow managed to keep his act together despite a past that is slowly catching up with him. If he can make enough money over the next couple of months by tending to Lee Ann Burke, he should be able to flee the country before his world comes crashing down around him. But when Lee Ann’s beautiful daughter, Addison, begins to awaken feelings in him that he thought died long ago, he begins to question whether or not fleeing from the past is worth leaving Addison forever.

Will Addison let down her guard for love and renew her relationship with her mother? Can Logan face his past, come out unscathed, and act on his feelings for Addison? And why is Lee Ann selling everything she owns on eBay and Craigslist?

A Tide worth Turning

This was a very good read! Addison hires a man to help care for her mother ,who she fears is slipping. This man has a secret or two that could affect all of them. Cecily White was a fine narrator. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Short and Sweet Wholesome Romance

I received this book free at my request and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Beth Wiseman has managed to write a short novella with more detail than a lot of novels four times as long. The characters here are entirely engaging, and the plot just pulls you in and goes by so quickly, you're going to find yourself wishing for more. Cecily White's narration is a breath of fresh air as she builds in unique nuances to each character as the story goes along. Definitely looking forward to more in the audio book world from both of these women.

Lovely sweet story.

**I am reviewing the audible version of this book, which comes in a box set of 4 novellas**

I really enjoyed this story.
I think Beth Wiseman did really well to pack so much in to a novella. I liked and could relate to the characters and was impressed by the author’s knowledge about Australia, which is where I’m from.
This was a lovely sweet story. There were also a lot of lessons that could be learned, and things too ponder.
The narration was excellent, with different voices for the different characters.

I am wishing for a sequel though, as without saying too much in order not to spoil the book, the ending was left open in a way.
I would highly recommend.

WILL THEY LOVE COME

I have read these books, and now to listen to them on Audible was a delight. The narration by Cecily White was good, and clear speaking.
Addison arranges a caregiver for her mother, till she gets back on her feet, after a stroke and a fall. A man close to her age comes, single, with an accent. She was impressed by his looks, and wondered why the agency sent a man. He has secret, and hopes he has money before his past is known. For Addison, burned by love to many times. Both stubborn, yet attracted to each other. Good story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Such a Cute Story

This story was not what I was expecting at all. While the story is short, the characters are well developed and the dialog is witty and fast paced. This is the first story I’ve read by Ms. Wiseman but I am looking forward to reading more. They are perfect to curl up with at the beach or in front of a warm fire and short enough to finish in one sitting.

Ms. White did an excellent job bringing the characters to life complete with accents and inflection. I look forward to hearing more from her as well.

I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

A Tide Worth Turning

A short sweet novella. Forgiveness and taking a chance after deception just might lead to love...

Beth Wiseman did a great job of packing so much story into a short novella.

The narration by Cecily White was well done. An enjoyable performance.

The Narration wasn’t it for me

There was something about the characters voices that didn’t work for me here.
