Professional and moral conflict
The two affairs went on too long. Should have been resolved before the event Clare was not believable having sex 7 nights with Jason and then 4 nights with her lover for a year

A read for the summer planner
You really could read this any time of year. Thinking about planning and slaving over a huge event that is over in 8 hours.
Iiked it but I think I would have enjoyed less about the main character and more about the backgrounds of the other characters like we get in the castaways. I loved hearing backstories and I think that’s what made that story so good. This was good but not my favorite of Elin’s books.

The voices the narrator did were so annoying!

Loved it!
A well written story around the topic of infidelity. Part of me felt that the ending could’ve been a bit more explosive or given us a peek into the future. Been loving this author as a go to for an entertaining read when I just want to escape to a little beach town on an island.

Long and pretty boring
The title and photo don’t really give a good idea of the book. It’s very long and never really goes anywhere. It’s. A book I found myself hating the main characters when I wasn’t supposed to. If you can sympathize with adultery that doesn’t sense, maybe it would be a good book.
