plot sophistication increases with protagonist's age.

The hero has more difficulties to overcome, and they increase in concert with his increased age. Could only tell voice was AI when reading letters. Too long pauses given after salutations.

I really like this story

I am surprised how much I like this story. Kudos to the writer as the character has grown and has stayed direct but still maintains this innocence. As most abused children he struggles to grow up and is used to coping with terrible things happening all the time.
Now I will say his powers still outweigh tremendously his predicament but he doesn’t use them , thankfully, because of his wanting to be loved and have family so badly he has fear over them.

The narrator AI is absolutely horrible not sure why the second book was a bit better from the AI than its predecessor and this one. I hope that this won’t be the downfall of these books . I would enjoy actually going back and reading the hardbacks of these.

I will say I am going to trudge on because I really love this writer thought process and his blatant style of wrote. It is worth it to push through I feel this botched Bot AI narrative.
