Entertaining!

Interesting plot and scenario. Very good narrator. Liked the location of the morgue, where a large part of the story took place, and learned, along with the main character.

Head shaking …not heart stopping

Some may have been performance, but I couldn’t stop shaking my head at the main character. I could still easily fall asleep….only reason to keep listening at night.

Interesting enough

Definitely not a great book, but entertaining enough to listen to in the background. There were a few parts in the story where it truly sounded more like a snippet from a research paper rather than a novel which didn’t do anything to make the dialogue seem genuine.

My biggest complaint is actually with the reader. I understand that enunciation is very important for clarity, but there were times she enunciated so dramatically that it actually distracted me.

I would say this is a good one to listen to while you’re busy with something else!

The Very Beginning Grabbed Me

This was almost too scary for me to finish but I had to know what happened

Fast paced, graphic as far as forensics and Very informative. Who knew it was so easy to steal someone's identity?

Enjoyable

Ok so I liked this book. The story was twisty and really kept me guessing until the end. I thought I had it figured out but I didn’t. I like books like that. I did, however, think the ending should’ve tied up some loose ends. Like why give us information on a marriage that has absolutely nothing to do with the story. I also thought some characters were gonna end up playing bigger parts but kinda just fizzled out. The last thing I didn’t like was how one minute the main character didn’t seem to know anything about anything (even dentistry it seemed) and the next minute she’s solving convoluted police cases. Really? Overall I enjoyed this book and would recommend it!

Had me until the end

The ending was disappointing and confusing and unbelievable. The beginning was great! But at the end I felt the author lost interest, narrator had a good voice, i usually hate when 1 person reads all the parts but this one was ok. Willing to give the author another chance though.

I hesitated to read this book and I admit there were a few times I closed it to open a different book. but I digress there was just something about the story and the characters that were pulling me in. I found myself trying to figure out clues for myself and I must've registered to chapter 22 5 times just to hear it all. I realized it was a pivotal part of the story. This book will have you guessing to the end and hoping that Val survives this crazy ride.

Super suspenseful

This was a very well written and easy to follow storyline. The suspense had me anxious for the characters.
