Good, but....

Well written and interesting, much like the previous books. Unfortunately this one was quite a bit more wordy and involved a lot of going over the events in the other books. In between those periods, there was a lot of traveling around and going back and forth between the same people to complete additional tasks. The result was less character development and new content than in the other books.

the writing is done well but i feel like the style has degraded or changed for some reason. there is a lot of exposition. there's just too much information presented I dont need to know about. why tell me the name of an enemy you're about to kill? why tell me about every characters motive? the first three hours of the book consists of Michael talking, that is a lot. this book feels like a video game session that consists of me walking around collecting side quests, fighting a boss, fighting another boss that I cheese interspersed with hours of dialogue that could be shortened considerably. nice try tom. not sure if I'll read the next one.

Good pacing and development of the story

Story was progressing great and paced accordingly. The ending felt a bit rushed but it didn’t deter too much from the overall

Michael is the best character I have had the experience of ever reading about I applaud Tom and his amazing job with these books.

Extending a good series

I enjoy this adventure. I appreciate an MC who can actually make decisions right away and not him-haw around. I do wish that the big fights were more detailed. there is big lead up to the fight and then bam, big bad guy is dead. I get that this book was probably more to progress the story and a lot did happen. but still.

My Top 5 on Audible

This series is one of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to. The use of the Adjudicators narration is on point, helping to keep the flow of the story continuously moving without feeling overwhelming. Michael, the protagonist, is secretly OP because you never get that feeling from him outside of combat. The entire series has a good balance.

Awesome can't wait to the next one in September

This one was amazing incredible the story The assassinations awesome way better than the last book he gets two new female companions three if you count the Fire Wolf. definitely worth your money and if the book after this is come out book 7 definitely get them. he doesn't meet up with the pack but he heads out to the pack at the end of the book the only bad part of This Book Is the End where he goes Toe to Toe against 300 players and only because it was really long love this book
