The author, Michael D. Young cleverly crafted a time-traveling story complete with realistic life-changing differences, the result of having to face consequences and he introduces other worlds into a captivating story. It was clearly written with only one or two places that required closer listening. Each character was well-developed blending into the story and action well. The storyline was clear with a few plot twists that left the listener thrown for a loop as the story unfolded.
The narrator, Stephen Paul did an amazing job of keeping the voices for each character (and there were a lot) straight and the story flowing smoothly. His unique voices fit each character’s personality well. He kept the action and adventure intense. I found his voice dynamic as he shifted between the various emotions and tenseness of each situation and character. His involvement further enhanced the book.
This is one of those gems that surprises you a few minutes into the story and keeps you listening until the end.
