With cloudy pasts to overcome, both Adam and Elizabeth want to believe in a bright future. Will they find the strength they need in each other, or will their differences keep them apart?

Sweet and tender romance

This was a sweet short romance. Elizabeth was a widowed single mother that had a strength about her. I loved how she took life in strides and made a way for herself and her child and mother. Adam was a dreamer, yet a gentle man. I enjoyed his love and concern for his aunt as well as all his employees. He had a tender heart that was shown well in the story. There was a little action and mystery in the book that added to the story's plot. The narrator did a good job of keeping the characters separate and keeping the book interesting. I recommend to those that like short sweet romance.

For some reason I just discovered that some of my previously posted reviews on audiobooks I have listened to, are not showing up. This was one of them. I do remember enjoying this book at the time but cannot really recall the particulars including the narration of the audiobook. I do remember that the storyline was interesting and kept my attention. If I have time and listen to the book again, I'll be able to give a better review.

Amazing story

This feel great story captivated me and held me until the end. I could feel the train rumble and picture the scenes, this was so well written! Narration is excellent too.

Sweet, Clean Historical Ronance

Widowed new mother Elizabeth needs to find a job to support her infant daughter and her ill mother. New in town she discreetly inquires about job opportunities for single mothers and is advised that it will be difficult to find a respectable job. Fortunately, Elizabeth finds a new hotel who is searching for staff and she applies for the job omitting the fact that she is a single mother.

Adam, a tender hearted man, has just purchased a piece of property that he intends, along with the aid of his aunt, to turn into a hotel. Adam hires Elizabeth and they begin to develop feelings for each other. Will Elizabeth's secret and the danger around her tear them apart? Will Adam be able to protect Elizabeth?

This was a great story with a little suspence and romance set on the frontier. New Beginning was my first exposure to Amelia C. Adams andI enjoyed the story very much. This was the first time for me listening na Audra Cool and she also did a wonderful job. I look forward to other stories with the two ladies.

Hard times

Such a sweet story of a young widow who takes a job to support her baby and her mother. She has a kind boss but he doesn't know about her baby. As they go closer and danger comes to her and her family he is surprised with her secret and she is worried about his reaction. Will he fire her? Or will something better come out of it? You will be surprised. I received a complimentary audio and this review is voluntary.

Love This Series!

I love the stories and strong characters from this series. The heartwarming stories with the obstacles to overcome to arrive at the HEA (happily ever after). I have read most of this series in Kindle. Listening to the audio book was like renewing an acquaintance with a good friend. Liked the audio voice, it added another depth to the story to make it even more real in my imagination.

A great start to a new series

I spent a lovely afternoon listening to the gem of a book and it left me wanting the next book in the series.

I couldn't help but love Adam and Elizabeth, they're both kind and good people and their attraction to each other was so sweet. The characters are surprisingly well done considering the length of the book and the setting is beautifully described. I enjoyed the glimpse into life in another era and life on the railroad frontier.

The character voices and the delivery were well done and I enjoyed listening to this narrator.

Clean romance= time with my 13yo daughter

This was wonderful! I listened to it with my 13yo daughter and she also enjoyed. Clean romance is such a joy to share with my child! Thank you for this joy.

Amelia Adams is a wonderful story teller. I really enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to book 2.

A sweet romance about new beginnings. After a loss, Adam has embarked on a business venture, setting up and running a hotel. Elizabeth has been recently widowed and left to care for her infant daughter and mother. The two are brought together but will their pasts keep them apart?

This is a lovely start to a new series by Amelia C. Adams. Audra Cook did a nice job with the narration.
