About this listen

Another installment in the Murder League, this time ex-detectives Carruthers, Simpson, and Briggs fall prey to inept kidnappers Clarence Alexander and Harold Nishbagel. Of course, the situation is quickly overturned and the captives bring the kidnappers to their knees.

It is time for a new brand of justice as these three older Britons take the law into their own hands.

Excellent series

I listened to the first of these after it popped up on the "new titles" list and loved it. This one is just as good. The trio cross paths with two hoodlums hiding out in the English countryside. The plot that follows is one you can imagine Alec Guinness starring in. Well read as well as well written.
