About this listen

"Talk about out of the frying pan, into the fire! I was pretty sure that my freaky stepsister and that freaky field guide of hers would ruin my life. But now it looks like they're going to ruin all of Florida, too! Okay, maybe that's not fair. Maybe all these stupid giants would be waking up anyway, but if it wasn't for her and that book, I'd be home playing video games and this would be someone else's giant problem!"©2008 Holly Black (P)2008 Simon & Schuster Audio Action & Adventure Fairy Tales, Folk Tales & Myths Fantasy Fiction Growing Up

Enjoyable Continuation, Excellent Narration

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I enjoyed A Giant Problem. I particularly like the narrator, Andrew McCarthy. Story continues to be fun, clever kid fare. It was rather mean though how the kids went through all this work in book 2 and think they have solved their problems only to discover on the last page that they aren't solved at all and are in fact probably worse. But I suppose that is how you get a book 3. I am dying to see how the kids get out of all the trouble they are in with their parents. I don't even see how they can go home before book 3 since they would never be allowed out of their parents' sight again and Florida would be doomed.
