Virtual narration-I didn’t like it. But the book was good. I enjoyed the characters.

A.I. performance reading???

I really like the story. It’s obvious that the writer has a gift and ability to sweep a reader away from reality. My issue is with the AI generated performance reading. Computers could and will never embrace and capture the nuances and passion of good storytelling and narration. This especially important when telling Black/African American stories. Our ability to tell compelling stories is deeply rooted in our culture. The AI tech is bereft and soulless.

Great start to the series

Virtual voice left much to be desired, it took some of the natural inflection and feeling out of the story. The book was great!

A must read!!

I absolutely loved this book !! I'll be listening to many more. I listened in one day and now starting on the second book.
