He’s got a family secret. She has long running secret of her own.
When Drue finds herself back in the town where her life changed forever, she meets Merrick. He figures out her secret and it’s ties to his families past. He feels justified in his ways when he wants to expose her, for the good of mankind. Even though his heart has been betrayed in the past, he finds that he can’t protect it against Drue.

Unique story
“I think your soul is made of stars Drue Hart. Because everything in you lights up my darkness.”
“If I'm stars then you must promise to be my night sky Merrick Forester. Because I'll only ever shine for you.”
I really liked the unique premise about the ancient honey. I mean, it has the potential to be a reality.
