Boggles the Mind

Sometimes it is a pleasure to get a reality check. This is it. Many a moments I asked "has the world changed this much?"

The story line was good and interesting

I do not enjoy the virtual voice. There is no personality and really effects the character of the story

Great story

I like the story but I wasn’t a fan of the virtual reader. But it had everything a thriller mystery novel should have

AI SPEECH IS BETTER BUT

AI speech is better than previous speech however it’s still obvious. I think I would have given 5 stars if the speech was more human.

Enjoy the thrilling ride

The stories were very believable & clean. Not a lot of graphic content / killing. Focused on solving the case.

Decent stories horrendous narration!

The virtual voice ruined the experience. Even though I listened to the book, going forward I will verify that the narrator is not virtual before buying and/or listening to any book.

Great Series!

I enjoyed listening to this audible book very much. There are excellent mysteries in each book of the series and though I like to predict, it wasn’t 100% predictable, which makes it such a great lesson!

Horrible computerized narration

Narration was without emotion. It took a decent storyline and turned it into a robotic rendering of the story

The serial killer variety

I disliked the AI voice, it did not let me connect with the characters, gave them no personality.

Virtual voice is terrible

Storyline is ridiculous difficult to listen to because of the voice and I certainly wouldn’t want Nessa as a partner if I was a cop
