Publisher's summary

Paul Carano is permanently disabled under the care of his personal nurse Lily Cho. Paul had strange nightmares when he was drugged up by Lily and forced into an affair. And now Lily is pregnant with his baby. Paul and his wife Shayla withdrew charges because they pity Lily. Lily is mentally ill and lost her career. But Paul and Lily forgive Lily. They support Lily because Lily is the mother of their new baby.

The philosophy behind this novelette is based on forgiveness.

The Carano family forgives Lily, but Lily commits suicide...and then, out of guilt Paul falls into a delirium dreaming about an apocalypse where God sends a clown instead of Jesus because we are not worthy. The clown is misunderstood as a heretic, but is actually an angel in the eyes of God. The narrator is a dream persona from Paul's dreams. Storyline is about people who can God lets relive their lives.

Mature theme. Abridged Cut edition.

I am so confused

I don't know where to begin. I will say that I loved the narrator's voice and her ability to draw you into a story that is way to confusing for any human to interpret.
