loved it. I'm a bjg fan. really appreciate the information he always gives at the end of hos sfories where be presents the science and data.

Interesting, but...

I thought this started out very well, but it fizzled for me in the end. I feel it gives an objective view to support legal abortions and staging the story in the 1960’s shows how little some of society has not changed their view.

Abortion from the early 70s.

a story of the evils associated with abortion, and the truth. how doctors dealt with it before Roe vs Wade.

Abortion drama

Excellent story of a pathologist that gets wrapped up in an abortion gone wrong. The twisted relationships between the various characters made for a very good read.

Very good story - I had a hard time stepping away from it. I highly recommend this.

Classic

One of my very first Michael Crichton books. I've read it twice and really enjoyed listening to it. The narrator made it so vivid for me again like I was just reading it for the first time.

Timeless

Surprised that story still resonates today. performances gave clarity to all characters. was easy to get through.

Written before my time but still enjoyed everything about this book! Respect for Nick Podehl's performance! I learned a lot and grateful for change! Must listen!

Enjoyable read

I felt like it started a bit slow, and some places were still slow, but it was a very interesting story.

Inthralling

The detective work done by Dr Berry was very interesting as he was able to extrapolate information so easily from the medical community. A different kind of detective story. The appendices were very educational and much it applies today.
