Very intriguing and interesting

This was a fun book to listen to. Learning about the history of England in a short audiobook. This book is packed with great information. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a short and concise read on the history of England and the modern era.

Comprehensive

I was never able not history as a child bc I thought it was boring. This book did a great job explaining the history of England. Great for many ages, this book is comprehensive and easy to absorb. I wish I would have paid better attention to history when I was young so this book I feel will be a great tool to keep kids attention about the subject.

Fascinating!!!

I’m glad I found this audiobook. England has always been in my bucket list for travel. But I have no idea about their history. I have learned so much about them today. So interesting and well written.

Really Interesting Book!

I really enjoy this book, This book is so well organized, you get to learn about England's history in a very concise way. The book covers a lot of information, all the way from 600BCE to the present day. Everything was explained in a way that is easy to understand and fun to listen to. I think everyone would enjoy learning about history this way. Get the book!

Learning history most time will make me boring. But not with this audiobook. The content is concise and well-narrated make it enjoyable to learn. So, for someone who is looking to learn the brief history of England, this audiobook should be your go-to reference. All the key points you need to know are summarized in 1-hour which is well worth your time. Recommended!

Fun and educational

I am English and spent the first 20 years of my life there. To be honest, as a youth, I didn’t really pay attention or care about abundance of incredible history I was surrounded by, not until I moved away that is. I have made up for lost time with this brilliant audio title that has educated me to a huge extent on the history of my country. Highly recommended listening 5/5

Nice for my student

I have a student who is so interested in history. Much more European countries. I am not so I guess this is perfect for her. Thank you for this would love to hear more from other countries. Mostly asian since I am Asian.

Worth every penny

I loved ‘A Brief History of America’ so much that I had to look for the second book in the series. I can say I am not disappointed by Book 2. I will just go ahead and get the rest of the books.

As a major history buff, I love audiobooks like this one, very descriptive, efficient delivery and not drawn out, quick and to the point with maximum clarity, very impressed, 10/10 highly recommend!

Very Informative

England is one of the top countries on my bucket list to visit. Actually Covid ruin plans for that trip last year. I have heard a lot about England growing up in a country once a colony of England. England has influenced many of the Caribbean countries’ culture, English dialect and food. I enjoyed learning more about England’ s own history and I hope to see the country soon.
