A Very Comprehensive Menopause Guide
Even though this is A Black Womans Guide, I am a white woman and it was very helpful to me. All women go through many of the same things during menopause and this book was very comprehensive and gave ideas to help with signs and symptoms of menopause. There were parts that were specific for black women and I enjoyed listening to how different races face different issues, but we all face many of the same. As a woman of a certain age who has been through menopause, I wish I had this book to read about five years ago! Great read!

I like that this guide is specific to black women as each ethnicity's health problems can vary just like we vary from woman to woman. The author provides valuable information and keeps it targeted to black women. I loved the narrator as she has an empathetic voice and kept me engaged with the book. I would recommend this book for any black woman who is nearing the phase of menopause or are currently going through the journey. There is some really helpful information within the book.

Menopause is a very pivotal time for any woman and I don't think the topic is talked about enough.
