Funniest Book Ever!!!!

Phil Dunster’s (sp?) reading was PERFECT! His timing was so spot on! Love this author’s sense of humor and great dialogue. Will definitely look for other books he writes. I have never laughed so hard and so frequently! HIGHLY recommend!

Such a wonderful caper

I was fully engaged by this story. I was never irritated by gratuitous or exaggerated violence. There are knives, some guns and the delicious English trope of a blunt object or two but none of the modern desperate violence. The characters are so well written. I listened and was so surprised when it ended I felt a bit blue for a bit. Great story.

Can Phil Dunster just narrate all audiobooks from here on out?

I’m a big fan of QI and “No Such Thing as a Fish,” so that was my intro to this author. He’s brilliant, funny, and sharp-witted on the podcast, and that proves true here, too. The characters are quirky and fun, and the story is full of twists and turns to keep you on your toes. But the real sweet spot here is that it’s read by Phil Dunster. No one could have done this better. He’s fantastic and perfect for this book.

Loved the characters. I miss them now that the story is done. Sequel, AHM?

Entertaining & surprising plot twists

Phil Dunster’s read of the story with many character voices made this wonderful, quirky book even better. This book was quite funny , which was surprising & had so many twists & turns. Phil Dunster needs to read more books for Audible. Is there anything he can’t do well? A fun listen !!!

Great story and narration!

Andrew Hunter Murray is a wonderful storyteller and I look forward to reading more from him. The characters are interesting and the plot is enthralling! I didn’t want to turn it off, I was so intrigued to see what happened next!

Fun read - ahem - listen

I'm a Fish fan so bought the book to support AHM. His wit and intelligence shines through, just as it does on the podcast. I also absolutely loved the narration.

British Summer Read

This story was cute, a little predictable but a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a good modern English mystery/thriller this will scratch your itch.

Binge worthy

Thoroughly entertaining. Lovely characters. Enjoyable twisty plot. Exactly what I hoped it would be and then some.
And then, what an exquisite performance by Phill Dunster!
