Great for spelling bee practice

5th-Grade Spelling Bee Training, by Heywood, is the perfect book designed to help your child in the spelling bee type contest. I like the way that it gives you the word, then uses it in a sentence, and then plays music while you spell it. Then the narrator gives you the correct spelling. It’s just like a normal spelling bee. Good book for helping kids spell, and it has a great variety of words.

Spelling can be difficult, but not any more. Not only will this book improve your 5th grader's overall performance (confidence, pacing, etc), it will help them dominate the spelling bee.

Impressive Spelling Bee Prep!

I found this audiobook to be most helpful in prepping my granddaughter for her spelling bee contest. Lots of kids find spelling to be an area of learning which can be challenging. This audiobook helps the listener to really embody the spelling of many words and the time allowed is appropriate to give the answer. It was also helpful that the word is used in an example sentence which also helps build vocabulary. Great prep book!

This is an excellent resource for grade school students looking to improve their spelling skills, and maybe even win a spelling bee! The audio production is done extremely well in order to keep kids engaged. And the vocabulary words used are age-appropriate but still challenging. Great resource!

Improve your 5th graders ability to spell

Young minds are like sponges, and they'll spongeup this book. Listening to this book with your 5th grader will drastically improve their vocabulary, ability to spell, and confidence. Well organized in manageable chapters with an engaging narrator that provides ample time for each listener to practice writing the words. Listening each night together gave us a shared activity that was extended to the car the next morning.
