Refreshingly straight forward and counter-intuitive advice

I have read a lot of books on relationships and this one is up there among the best. I really appreciated the author’s focus on what’s going on inside of ourselves as we work on our relationship. I liked the no judgement approach of solving problems without trying to solve our partners. Overall this style of writing resonates with me because it’s simultaneously direct without being preachy, serious yet easy to take in, without fluff or an attempt to demonstrate to readers how much the author knows. I am looking forward to applying and practicing several of the ideas in this book and to reading more from this author.

I recommend that everyone read this book! It gives great insight into all relationships and human nature that are frankly priceless, no matter who you are or what you do!
