50 is too much
I usually make a point to finish what I started, including long and borring books. This is one of them. I love listening to stories of startup businesses, but 50 is too much. The information is very dated, I believe from 2007, and the internet world has changed so much since then. A lot of examples from Australia, which was interesting.
Some of the book was interesting, but 50 stories just became very repetitive very quickly. The information is out of date. I couldn't finished this one, I got about 4 hours into it, but thought about leaving it after 45 minutes.

Valuable for people doing Internet Business.
If you want to learn some great success practices for eBusiness and build confidence that you can be successful, this is a great book to get. This book has some great examples of business leaders that started with very little resources, faced difficult setbacks, and explains the key things they did to achieve success. While many of the examples of successful eBusinesses covered in this book are from Australia, they still serve as good examples and of how to achieve success by selling products and services on the Internet.

Well, this is why they have the preview function.
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Well, the only issue I have with this book is the accent. I don't know if the reader is from the country the book was published in perhaps, and I realize there are probably plenty of foreign listeners. I've wasted many a credit on a book that was simply ruined for me with a British or Australian accent (these are my best guesses as to the origin of this accent, so please forgive me if I'm inaccurate, which is likely).
That said, there's nothing wrong with these accents. They simply do not work for me personally when it comes to listening to audio books. There are other characteristics I don't like in readers- for example, I don't really care for George Guidall, who is widely considered a great reader.
That said, I would simply say that for those who don't mind or rather enjoy a British or Australian accent, this would be a fine listen. It's just something that happens to distract me, and that's really not a reflection of the quality of the book or anyone involved with it; I can't stress that enough. I only wish I'd listen to the samples more often because it completely takes me out of my focus on the book.
What could Emily Ross and Angus Holland have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Well, personally for me, I would just rather have an American English reader.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The accent, and that's nobodies "fault", it's just something that I've never cared for when it comes to audio books.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment, again, because the accent makes it hard to get into the book.
Any additional comments?
No.
