About this listen

The second edition of 5 Reasons Stoicism Is Better than Everything is a Stoic comedy book intended to educate people about the philosophy known as Stoicism. This book compares Stoicism to a plethora of topics humorously while also explicating Stoic concepts. I hope this book helps Stoicism go more mainstream because I think it's a philosophy everyone can use in good and bad times.

Explanations through Comparison and Humor

In the spirit of Plutarch, Jess Whitson teaches by comparing. In this book, he compares Stoicism to a broad range of people, places, and things, often with seemingly absurd deductions. I enjoyed this listen.
