Very inspirational Powerful words I enjoyed it alo

Very Inspirational. I enjoyed it alot. If You are Spiritually awake you will love this narrator. She connected trichotillomania with defeat and prayer. I know Through Christ all things are possible. Amen!

Tape fingers, get hobby, (I don't need a list of activities or stores where to go shopping). Lectures on the Bible... Don't waste your money.

so helpful for my next season

I found this book in perfect timing. I had trich for 23 years. Last week, I started a 40 devotion to defeat the past. I started a fast along with it. Yesterday I knew I needed to take a stand and I buzzed my hair off. I'm reclaiming what the enemy wrongfully had control over. My prayer is that God would help me form new healthy habits moving forward (because I use to pull my eyelashes too) and to hopefully grow all my hair back out. I am thankful this is a quick listen that I can go to often and be reminded of some tips and mindsets. God is using this book and is an inspiration to share our story of trich to help others. thank you

Trich is a Blessing

So far the most helpful resource in overcoming Trich, beside my Savior. I have realized having trich is a blessing for 3 reasons!
1. Trich is like an alarm that says "you feel anxious and stressed, it's time to figure out why and resolve it so you can be happy and at piece." So many people feel stressed but don't realize they feel stressed. They have the negative side effects of stress but are never woken up by an alarm telling them to resolve it and feel peace. (((stress (physical and mental) is actually beneficial when we grow from the stress. Just as you should eat protein after you've had physical stress you should have positive feelings and resolve after having mental stress in order to grow ('The Upside of Stress' by: Kelly McGonagal))).
2. This chink in my armor requires me to rely upon my Redeemer. Trich has softened my heart, humbled me, and made me reach out to my Shepard.
3. Closing my eyes and picturing constructive memories and thoughts can direct my thoughts towards my Savior and help me long for the day and picture the day when I will hug him and express my eternal gratitude for securing a path back to my Hevaenly Father through His atonement.
I want to leave my testimony that I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves you with a perfect love. And He is desirous for you to feel of His love. I urge you to seek after it! Hear Jesus Christ who is guiding you with His voice (your conscience) every day. I leave this with you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
