Wer heute mit diesem ungekürzten Hörbuch, gesprochen von Sebastian Rudolph, George Orwells totalitäre Welt betritt, entdeckt Ähnlichkeiten zu unserer aktuellen Welt, die es früher noch nicht gab. Orwells berühmt-berüchtigtes "Neusprech" ist nur ein Beispiel von vielen, das uns heute mehr denn je Erschauern lässt. Und selbst Flachbildschirme betrachtet man nach diesem Hörerlebnis ganz anders als vorher.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. Scary stuff
I listened to it hour by hour on my commute ... as I always do ... but with this book the last 5hours i could not stop listening through the night. The story is so amazing and intelligent... and relevant.
