Publisher's summary

The Body of Messiah today is not seeing the type of spiritual outpouring that we read about in the book of Acts, even though we have access to modern buildings, transportation, and technology that Paul and Peter never even imagined. We have tools and resources far beyond what the early believers had, so common sense and simple statistics tell us that we should be accomplishing much more than they did. However, even with all of our advantages, the statistics provided by research groups tell us that the number of people who believe in Yeshua (Jesus) is on the decline. If this is true (and it is), then maybe we need to reevaluate the way we do ministry.

Focus on Yeshua/Jesus

This book was put together very well. As a young leader, this book is like proverbs in that as I am experiencing things in my own congregation, I can be reassured to look at the greater picture for God’s community through His Word and not get distracted by other people of things - even my own. I look forward to hearing about more experiences that will help me not to do ministry wrong.
