Finally a decent H/h in this series the whole way from start to finish. It only took 3 books from this author !!!!! Although Romam did act like a dumb little girl for a minute, but he regrouped and found his brain he was sitting on. Good strong independent couple that are likeable. The narrator did a good job .

another good book in this series

I didn't realize what the connection to the other books was at first, probably because I took some time in between listening to them. But I enjoyed this book just like the others. Plenty of steam, workplace romance between two people who seemingly hate each others guts. I love how they were able to keep their normal workplace relationship while still pursuing their "romantic" one.

Grace Grant was totally great!

My first T. Gephart book was amazing! This was fantastic story… so funny and smart! I loved the two lawyers trying to work with each other. Their banter was just off the charts hilarious! I laughed so hard listening to this audio book! The dialogue between these characters was completely perfection! I adored Grace Grant’s narration of these characters!

Funny, Sexy Enemy to Lovers Romance!

I wasn't sure I would enjoy this at the beginning. Lauren Harper and Roman Pierce were colleagues at a Law firm who were so competitive, always trying to one up the other. They exchanged barbs but their competition drove them to be better lawyers. I quickly got into the rhythm and fell for the humor, smart banter and heartwarming, sweet romance. Lauren is smart and confident but at times she had me laughing out loud when her brain would conjure up the most hilarious scenarios. Roman took awhile to understand but trust me when I say he is the sweetest, most loyal, and protective alpha and you will love him in the end. I am a huge fan of grand gestures and this story had me swooning!
Grace Grant did an amazing job with this story. Her inflections were spot on and her comedic timing was brilliant.
This story is a hilarious, sweet & sexy romance that won me over quickly and I need to check out the rest of this series!

Overall hilarious!!!

These guys are something else!! Their sense of humor is something most guys need lessons in!! The story line was a perfect romantic comedy!!! Rom, is totally hunky nerd in glasses hot whom plays!!!
Narrators were awesome in keeping on point with the characters!!! Can’t wait to read the next one in this series!!

Absolutely love the series. Making my way through each book. this one did not disappoint.

The Perfect Rivalry

Roman.... what can I say... I was secretly excited for his story.
I shouldn’t like this hard, cocky, smart mouthed man but I knew he had to be fun to spar with and T Gephart did not disappoint. Two lawyers, Roman and Lauren, held nothing back with their banter. Both being unrelenting and ruthless to the other and it just made this such an enjoyable ride.

Added bonus is the little things like how they live in the same world as Hot in the City Series like Gino’s ❤️!

I felt it was a tad different than the prior two books but all in a good way. Different as in a little more serious but still loads of humor with the heart melting moments along with the small heartbreak.
Each story is unique in its own so I was not bored and I am extremely anxious to pick up the next book.

Again another winner in my book!

Read the book and listened to the audiobook together for added benefits and love both together and separate.

Roman Pierce and Lauren Harper are associate lawyers at the same law firm. They fight each other for everything instead of working as a team. They’re working on the same case as a team. It was a divorce case because Jenna Kane, an entrepreneur who created Kane Cosmetics and is CEO. The pharmaceutical aspect of her company is creating a cream that will help with skin infections. She’s concerned about a patent that she is filing in the next month, while she was separated and has no proof or a prenuptial agreement. She’s willing to give her dope smoking husband a nice settlement and the house.


This was my first in T Gephart’s #1 series and I loved it. i never laughed, cried or been so angry at an audio before. i highly recommend this audio
