This book is a collection of inspirational sermons given across North America following the 9-11 terrorist attacks. All were written on short notice by pastors who were themselves experiencing 9-11 with the rest of us. They serve to bring us all back to those dark days. Hearing the sermon's and the pastors' comments help you recall and experience the feelings we all felt in September 2001.

Jamie describes the four basic drives, or motivators, in our lives. They are the drives for security, for recognition, to love and be loved, and the drive for adventure. Then he adds a fifth one, the need to be creative. These are inside us all, and they have been since before we were born. They are neither moral nor immoral. But so much depends on how we use them, how we engage with them. Our life in Christ is largely marked by these drives, and the controls, or delimiters, we place on them.

Jamie shares from his personal experiences how walking with God is a dangerous proposal. It's a risky walk. It could cost you everything. But in the process, it will allow you to lay hold of the secrets to the kingdom of God. Jamie shares several specific things he learned over the years while continuing his own personal risky walk with God.
