Make powerful lifetime decisions
Reviewed: 02-17-20
Peter and Steven outline extensively how ten industries are vastly changing in the future. One industry I was about to commit my lifetime to will infact change so drastically that my business model has no place in it. As a result I've made a business decision to pursue other opportunities. It might've made be $500k in the next few years, but then it would be worth nothing. Instead, this book has opened my eyes to real opportunities that have business value now and in the next 10-20 years. If a future where you both participate and win is what you want, read this book.

A Simple Story Explains A Powerful Concept

A story that opens the mind to invention in retirement planning
Reviewed: 05-23-19
David McKnight has truly outdone himself. Using the power of a compassionate story and a good feel ending, he has helped open our eyes to a concept that questions the fundamentals of retirement planning by challenging the very assumption the 4% rule is based upon. And giving us the tool for how to change 4% into much more retirement income with safety and security built in. Transformative. Great. Story was well done.

Story
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

One of the most impactful books ever

We all suffer from some or all of the pains expressed in Brené’s book. She explain it to us so we don’t feel judged but part of a community of people, she jokes about it with us so it’s approachable and she demonstrates to us a new way forward to live a life wholeheartedly that genuinely feels full and wonderful. Based on decades of research. Based on love and observation. A true gem. Now in my TOP 3 books read to date.
