Great story!

I loved this story. Kept me always guessing!! I thought I had it figured out early, then I thought "no I don't".... then later I went back to my original thoughts on the outcome... and I was right. I cried a lot too.
I previously had read the Clockmaker's Daughter and that one took me forever because I found it hard to follow... but this one I ate up in two days.

Story
In Pride and Prejudice Jane Austen brought together one of the most beloved literary couples of all time - Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. Now, Mr. Darcy's Decision continues the story of these passion-filled newlyweds as they enter London’s glamorous high society. This pause-resisting novel finds Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy entangled in the frivolity and ferocity of social intrigues.

Entertaining but.....

The story itself s good. I admit I enjoyed the book and the continuing story of Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy. However I found the voices for the men (especially Mr. Darcy) monotone and boring. Granted it is a woman reading the book, but I've listened to many audible books with females reading the parts of men and they were fine. I also did not like all the word-for-word quotes from the original Pride and Prejudice book interspersed throughout, especially Chapter 29 where the entire letter that Mr. Darcy had written to Elizabeth from the original book re-read. Why? Filler? I fast forwarded through this so I did not have to listen to that whole thing again.
All and all, despite my grievances, I binged this entire story in one day.

Too long and too convoluted

Story could have been better the premise was good, but too many characters and you get lost on who's who. There were times during this book I kept saying, oh come on already... I almost stopped "reading" this book because it was so frustrating. But I continued on until the end hoping that all the answers would come out. They do, but it still left me scratching my head.
