Story
"Me? A leader? Okay, I did prove that there's more to Inside than we knew. That a whole world exists beyond this cube we live in. And finding that led to a major rebellion—between worker scrubs like me and the snobby uppers who rule our world. Make that ruled. Because of me, we're free. I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again—while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. But then we learned that there's outside and then there is Outside...."

The first book was great, the second.... is even better! This is a different take on another way of life that makes you believe, wow that could happen in the future!
Amanda does great narration and keeps you interested in the characters. I am hoping another one is on the way with the same Narrator!

Story
"I drew a deep breath. I’d spoken more in one burst to this stranger whose room I’d invaded than anyone else in weeks. And with a single word he could alert the Pop Cops and send me to the Chomper. We stared at each other for a few heartbeats. Before I could retreat he said, 'My name’s Riley Narelle Ashon. Any time you need peace, you’re welcome to use my hideaway.'"

It is unlike any book I've read and keeps you interested the whole book, before I knew it the book was over and it left me wanting more! I recommend trying it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Leila's psychic abilities have been failing her, and now she isn't sure what the future holds. If that weren't enough, her lover, Vlad, has been acting distant. Though Leila is a mere mortal, she's also a modern woman who refuses to accept the cold-shoulder treatment forever - especially from the darkly handsome vampire who still won't admit that he loves her.... I have been waiting for twice Tempted to come out for a while now! It was worth the wait! Due to it being so long since the previous book, Once Burned, I did find myself a little out of touch for the first chapter or two so I went back through and listened to Once Burned then continued on to Twice Tempted. Absolutely love the Jeaniene Frost, Tavia Gilbert duo and would highly recommend the whole series starting with Halfway to the Grave as this series is a spin off. I can't wait for more to come out!

Story
On a lake in northernmost Minnesota, you might find Naledi Lodge - only two cabins still standing, its pathways now trodden mostly by memories. And there you might meet Meg, or the ghost of the girl she was, growing up under her grandfather’s care in a world apart and a lifetime ago. Now an artist, Meg paints images "reflected across the mirrors of memory and water", much as the linked stories of Vacationland cast shimmering spells across distance and time.

What disappointed you about Vacationland?
This story started out okay but by the time I got half way through the book I was having a hard time following along and then it seemed to just keep dragging on and seemed to not have a point. Reading the preview I didn't realize that this story was based on a whole bunch of peoples stories that somehow combine at some point. For me it was hard to tell when a new story started, it seemed to go way off track and I had to keep rewinding to figure out that the people and the story changed and it was a new persons view that I was listening too. I don't normally like these kids of books and if the preview would have been a little more descriptive I would not have purchased the book.
I was excited to see that Amanda Ronconi was the narrator, this was a big reason of why I decided to try the book. She is my all time favorite Narrator. While she did a great job as usual the book just didn't pick up or make sense to me. Which definitely was not her fault. Still love her!!

This book had me sucked in within the first chapter. You know you've got a great book when you listen along and realize you've been listening for 2 hours straight! The mixture between hero action and hot sexy action leaves you wanting more. I love that Taryn is a complete smart ass and tells it how it is. She's bold and not afraid to speak her mind. Especially when it comes to a hot, scary shifter male. The attraction builds through out the book and definitely does not leave you disappointed.
I am very picky with narrators I have my favorites and have a hard time adjusting to new ones. For me Jill Redfield did an awesome job! She really became the characters. I will surely listen to books narrated by Jill Redfield in the future. I hope that the next book that comes out has the same narrator! It would not be the same with out.

Bayport High's Varsity cheer squad is made up of the hottest of the hot. But this A-list is dangerous in more ways than one. The Squad is actually a cover for the most highly trained group of underage government operatives the United States has ever assembled.
