Story
Fascinating Womanhood for the Timeless Woman holds the position that most cultures have lost the sense of ascendancy that comes from proper cultivation of femininity and masculinity in women and men, respectively. This book teaches that femininity inspires a noble masculinity in men and that it empowers and liberates women to pursue their greatest potential. It is not merely a book of personal or moral opinions. It’s based, in part, on modern science, over 50 years of teaching experience and feedback, and, most importantly, results.

Some good takeaways

While I didn’t love the whole book, there were certainly a few good take aways from the book.

Story
After she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in her early 20s, Phoebe Lapine felt overwhelmed by her doctor's strict protocols and confused when they directly conflicted with information on the best-seller list. After experiencing mixed results and a life of deprivation that seemed unsustainable at best, she adopted 12 of her own wellness directives - including eliminating sugar, switching to all-natural beauty products, and getting in touch with her spiritual side.

Ties it all together

This book was a great way to tie the many health books I've recently read all together. The writing an narration makes it feel like you are speaking with a friend (random pop culture references and all!). I would highly recommend to anyone starting a new health and wellness journey or trying to stick to one.

A bit of everything

I really didn't know what to expect going into this book. I found Emily Lay after following Lara Casey on social media. I still can't tell you exactly how it impacted me most, but I can certainly say it made an impact. It's what I needed at the moment in so many ways. It's a short read and well worth it. No matter what your situation is at this moment.
