Story
This is the story of Peep-Sight, a Gambel's quail who came to live with the Plummer Family in Nevada. He captured their hearts, and he will capture yours. It describes the sensitive care one should take in adopting a wild creature and the rich rewards thereof.

Well organized, written, and quite enjoyable

Would you consider the audio edition of A Quail in the Family to be better than the print version?
Personally, I prefer audiobooks and this is where this work shines.
Any additional comments?
Pete Ferrand’s narration adds a level of personalization and enjoyment to this work. He presents it as if he has invited you into his living room so you can listen to him personally tell YOU the story of the quail and its family. It goes so far above mere reading it that it rises to a new and much higher level of entertainment.
I look forward to experiencing many more of his audiobooks.

Story
Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson ( Pulp Fiction) rocks this mock bedtime story, capturing a hilarious range of emotions as the voice of a father struggling to get his child to sleep. Go the F**k to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don’t always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland.

What would it be without 'f--k'?
Reviewed: 06-20-11
This "book" would be boring and uninteresting without the word 'f--k' constantly appearing in it. With 'f--k' in it, it is much worse.
Unless you're a 9 to 14 year old (and enjoy hearing the word constantly repeated unnecessarily), I suggest you give it a pass. I got it for free and I feel I was ripped off!
