As always, Mrs. Brown delivers a good country story.

Hailing from neighboring Young county, I can assure you that people in this region do not speak as annoyingly as portrayed by this narrator. It's so unrealistic I switched from the Audible to the book in the first chapter.

You know what is highly disappointing? When a Narrator is so distracting it ruins the book. Zero inflection in the voice. Every single sentence is a flat affectation. I LOVE this author, I'll have to read this book instead of listening so I can get any kind of pleasure from it.

Not my favorite but still really good. This could be a great movie!

LOVED Elizabeth Rodgers performance of this really long book.

All Nora Roberts books should be read by women. Preferably Emily Sutton-Smith or Kate Rudd.

Would you try another book from Julia London and/or Tanya Eby?

Yes

What was most disappointing about Julia London’s story?

This story was not believable to me. Outrageous emotions based on too little evidence to evoke such reactions.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Tanya Eby is not one of my favorite narrators. Her sentences tend to end with her voice lilting up, which gets annoying after awhile.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I always like the continuation of characters.
