Story
Allie Logan isn't the type to land a hot hunk of cowboy. Truth is, she's given up on dating since shedding her no-good ex. But the new owner of the most ramshackle ranch in Texas might just change her mind about that. He's six-foot-plus of tall, dark, and charming - the kind of guy who could make a girl throw caution to the wind...or the kind of guy who could break her heart.

Tried and true from C.B.

As always, Mrs. Brown delivers a good country story.
Hailing from neighboring Young county, I can assure you that people in this region do not speak as annoyingly as portrayed by this narrator. It's so unrealistic I switched from the Audible to the book in the first chapter.

Narrator detracts from the story

You know what is highly disappointing? When a Narrator is so distracting it ruins the book. Zero inflection in the voice. Every single sentence is a flat affectation. I LOVE this author, I'll have to read this book instead of listening so I can get any kind of pleasure from it.

Story
The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it’s kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine’s aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born.

Story
She couldn't remember a thing, not even who she was. But it was clear Bailey James was in trouble. Big trouble. And she desperately needed private eye Cade Parris to help her find out just what kind. Surely she wasn't a criminal - but then what on earth was she doing with a bag full of cash and a stunning blue diamond as big as a baby's fist?

Unbelievable
Reviewed: 04-20-15
Would you try another book from Julia London and/or Tanya Eby?
Yes
What was most disappointing about Julia London’s story?
This story was not believable to me. Outrageous emotions based on too little evidence to evoke such reactions.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Tanya Eby is not one of my favorite narrators. Her sentences tend to end with her voice lilting up, which gets annoying after awhile.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I always like the continuation of characters.
