Story
Welcome to 1876 America, a place bursting with gunslingers, outlaws, and garou - better known as werewolves. And where there are garou, there’re hunters: the one and only Calamity Jane, to be precise, along with her fellow stars of Wild Bill’s Traveling Show, Annie Oakley and Frank “the Pistol Prince” Butler. After a garou hunt goes south and Jane finds a suspicious-like bite on her arm, she turns tail for Deadwood, where there’s talk of a garou cure. But rumors can be deceiving - meaning the gang better hightail it after her before they’re a day late and a Jane short.

Just Ok. Not really worth buying.

I didn't like that they made Calamity Jane a lesbian. It was unnecessary and didn't help the plot.

Story
When a listless office employee (the narrator) meets Tyler Durden, his life begins to take on a strange new dimension. Together they form Fight Club - a secretive underground group sponsoring bloody bare-knuckle boxing matches staged in seedy alleys, vacant warehouses, and dive-bar basements. Fight Club lets ordinary men vent their suppressed rage, and it quickly develops a fanatical following.

Gross, utter rubbish

I wanted to finish this book, but the narrator's voice was so annoying and the book was horrible. I know the book is supposed to be dark and depressing, but it was too much for me. The cussing, demeaning representation of women, explicit sexual content, dark overtones, and uncompelling plot made me quit this book at chapter 7. I have only done this 6 times in my long, book-loving life. It is utter rubbish and a waste of money.
