Story
It's been five years since her sister was killed by a demon and Camille Morgan swore off the family business of demon hunting. Now a college sophomore, Cami is determined to get her degree and move far away from Seattle—and all things paranormal. When Cami becomes the target of a demon attack she's convinced is a ploy by her parents to drag her back into training, the wildly charming and attractive Xander Kane comes to her rescue. But her savior isn't a hunter—or even human.

I am sucker for love that has to be fought for and boy do Camille and Xander fight for theirs. Listening to this on audio was a great experience I can’t recommend it enough! So proud of Jessi for getting this story out there

Story
Saiden, a Blood-Cursed legionnaire—blessed by both the God of Life and Goddess of Death—is a paradox. Called both “death-bringer” and “world-ender,” she is surprisingly careful about taking lives and proving herself to be a monster. Torn between her loyalty to her queen and the need to protect her people, Saiden struggles to decide who she is going to be in a world that has already cast her aside.

Fantastic Debut Novel

I enjoyed listening to this novel as much as I enjoyed reading it. The choice of two narrators helped to differentiate between the different characters while listening. Saiden's choice between saving her queen or saving her country is very poignantly delivered.
