Wonderfully written story. Sacrificing your true self ,friends and loved ones to get what you want and not regretting the choices you’ve had to make to get to where you are. Owning up to your mistakes and not feeling sorry for ones self.Ultimately realizing some of it was too high a price and still wanting others to know your true self, the good and ugly.

Story
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

I was not prepared!!!!!

This book totally surprised me!!! I did not expect that ending AT ALL. I literally sat in stunned silence with my hand over my mouth for minutes. I just couldn’t believe what I had just read. At first it was a bit slow but then as more of Alicia’s diary was revealed you kinda started to doubt what actually really happened. I it made me question myself if I was wrong about her being innocent or not. That plot twist was just superb!!!

I loved it!!! I started this series a couple years ago, but then stopped. I’m happy I choose to restart it again a few months ago. Loved how it was always keeping me hooked. I did get emotional when loses happened but also on their triumphs. I Will miss the Nerd Heard.
