Story
In 2017, a routine network television investigation led to a story only whispered about: one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers was a predator, protected by fear, wealth, and a conspiracy of silence. As Farrow drew closer to the truth, shadowy operatives, from high-priced lawyers to elite war-hardened spies, mounted a secret campaign of intimidation, threatening his career, following his every move, and weaponizing an account of abuse in his own family.

So interesting!

Was and is so interesting to see how the pieces finally fell into place but OMG what gross negligence by those in powerful positions!! How they at any point , other than to protect themselves, thought that Weinstein should be saved is beyond me.
Brave journalism from Mr. Farrow and I hope that more people unearth the truth and stop what happened to these woman, happening in the future.

Story
Thirty years ago, Wilde was found as a boy living feral in the woods, with no memory of his past. Now an adult, he still doesn't know where he comes from, and another child has gone missing. No one seems to take Naomi Pine's disappearance seriously, not even her father - with one exception. Hester Crimstein, a television criminal attorney, knows through her grandson that Naomi was relentlessly bullied at school. Hester asks Wilde - with whom she shares a tragic connection - to use his unique skills to help find Naomi.

Story
The Silverback is considered the undisputed king, a creature whose authority is never challenged and who does not yield to compromise. He walks proudly, feeds greedily, grafts tirelessly, mates voraciously, swears constantly and is threatened all too easily. The Silverback is known to nestle in the misty peaks of central Africa but can also be found in Barking, Essex. Meet Dave Kane, the disappointed, steroid-ingesting, metal-wielding, bouncer father of slight, effete Gamma Male Russell Kane.

There are some laugh out loud parts and there are a few bits where you'll feel yourself welling up (or maybe that was just me). Enjoyable to listen to, you totally believe everything he is saying and glad i downloaded.
Not sure I would have got the same out it had I actually read the physical book!

Made me laugh out loud, made me cry, made me look at my life and what's really important and made me appreciate more how one man is doing everything he can to make the world a nicer, kinder place.
I'm sure that some parts of this were tough for Jonathan to write and even tougher to read but his persona resonates and carries through in this audiobook. Really glad I downloaded.
