Not once…but twice. I slept with him twice. With the one man that I was supposed to stay away from. Not only that…I got pregnant the first time around and never told him. My world is spinning. How complicated could my life be? Especially now that Chase is also my boss? That’s not the only problem. Chase is also my brother’s best friend. And let me just say that my brother would be furious. He would be furious if he found out who the father of my first child is.

Too much focus on sex

Felt like every other chapter was sex. Would have loved more focus on the actual story. Almost made their relationship feel less true connection and more teen hormone. “Oh my friend needs help… but oh I’m so horny I need dick first” smh made it seem more like a porno then anything else. The actual story and relationship were not enhanced by all the sex but instead felt very diminished. Don’t get me wrong I love a smutty book but this was supposed to be an actual story not porn.

Was really good but that music

I very much enjoyed this story. However the music at the opening, the ending, and for whatever reason the beginning of chapter 12 was not good. It didn’t match the moods of the story and was far too loud. The narrator was okay but not at all consistent in voicing different characters. Made it a bit difficult to know who’s dialogue was who’s.
